The Jacomo brand was born in 1968 when American James Kaplan and French pianist Gérard Courtin set up a luxury shop specialising in leather goods on New York's 5th Avenue. Courtin was so enthusiastic about art that he dreamed of creating perfumes, so he embarked on this specialisation with a passion.
The first Jacomo fragrance appeared on the market in 1970. The brand pays great attention not only to the aromatic essences it contains, but also to the design of its perfume bottles. The men's fragrance Jacomo De Jacomo, for example, won the FIFI Awards in the best packaging category.
