Paco Rabanne is the pseudonym that brought success to Francisco Rabaneda Cuervo. The Spanish-born designer grew up in France, where he worked in a number of fashion houses before setting up his own in 1966. The first Paco Rabanne fragrance came out 3 years later, and was quickly followed by dozens of fragrances for men and women.
